Honorable Mention Winner Makiyah Degraffenreid, 2017 Grand Prize Winner Yuliana Ortiz, Skillman Foundation Senior Program Officer Robert Thornton, and Honorable Mention Winners Khyra Norman, Jordan Jones, Monica Britt, and Kimberly Orozco. The Skillman Foundation and The Parade Company today announced the winner and five honorable mention float designs chosen from middle school entries in Detroit. The Parade Company created a float from the winning student's drawing, and the student and her family will ride down Woodward Avenue on the float next week in America's Thanksgiving Parade presented by Art Van.
