Float Design Grand Prize Winner Yuliana Ortiz, 7th grade, Clippert Academy, next to her The Snowing Mountains. The Skillman Foundation and The Parade Company today announced the winner and five honorable mention float designs chosen from middle school entries in Detroit. The Parade Company created a float from the winning student's drawing, and the student and her family will ride down Woodward Avenue on the float next week in America's Thanksgiving Parade presented by Art Van.
